“I would highly recommend this service. The clinicians were very kind and supportive. I wish I’d done this years ago as I finally feel understood.”

Mark

Adult ASD assessment

“Thank you for being so flexible with appointments. The assessment and report are very thorough and the school have already implemented some of your recommendations. We feel hopeful for the future.”

Mohammed

Child combined assessment

I chose National Neurodiversity Assessments because you are one of the only providers I could find that are neuro-affirming and don’t treat ADHD as something that needs to be fixed. I’ve started my coaching sessions and already feel the benefit. Thank you so much.”

Jenny

Adult ADHD assessment

“The best thing for me was being able to talk to real people throughout and always getting a prompt reply. I struggle with my anxiety and it really helped to have everything explained to me, each step of the way.”

Isiah

Adult combined assessment

“The face-to-face assessment for my son was very useful, as he’s non-verbal and could not cope with a remote assessment. The assessor was so kind and my son actually found the assessment fun. The other assessor that did my parent interview was great and did not make me feel rushed. A great service.”

ABOUT US SERVICE

What Sets Our Service Apart

Learn about our thorough diagnostic process, experienced clinical team, ongoing support, and the values that underpin every assessment.

  • We provide comprehensive multidisciplinary Autism and ADHD assessments that follow NICE guidelines, NHS standards, and evidence-based best practice.

Our assessments combine validated diagnostic tools, clinical expertise, and modern technologies to build a detailed understanding of each individual. We look beyond observable traits alone, giving equal importance to lived experience, developmental history, strengths, challenges, and day-to-day functioning.

This thorough and person-centred approach enables us to make well-informed diagnostic decisions while recognising the unique profile of every individual.

Our reports are clear, comprehensive, and practical. They explain our clinical findings, identify strengths and support needs, and provide personalised recommendations for home, education, work, and everyday life.

  • Our multidisciplinary team brings together highly experienced professionals with expertise across autism, ADHD, and co-occurring neurodevelopmental differences.

Clinical leadership is provided by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Speech and Language Therapists with more than 50 years of combined experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and families. Our leadership team also includes people with lived experience of neurodiversity, helping to ensure our services remain informed by both clinical expertise and real-world understanding.

Our team includes Consultant Psychiatrists, Consultant Paediatricians, Clinical Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Nurses, Paediatric Nurses, Specialist Teachers, and Neurodevelopmental Practitioners.

We are committed to continuous professional development and ongoing collaboration with the neurodivergent community, ensuring our practice remains current, evidence-based, and informed by lived experience.

  • We recognise that every neurodivergent person has a unique profile of strengths, differences, challenges, and support needs.

Our neurodiversity-affirming approach focuses on understanding the whole person rather than simply identifying diagnostic criteria. Through comprehensive assessment, we explore patterns of thinking, communication, sensory processing, learning, attention, and everyday functioning to develop a meaningful understanding of each individual.

We value authenticity, autonomy, self-understanding, and informed choice. Our goal is not to change who someone is, but to help them better understand themselves, access appropriate support, and thrive in environments where they can succeed.

  • We are an NHS Right to Choose provider for Autism and ADHD assessments. This means eligible patients in England can be referred to us by their GP and receive their assessment fully funded by the NHS.

Being awarded NHS contracts requires providers to meet rigorous standards of quality, governance, and clinical care. We are proud to support the NHS principle of providing healthcare based on clinical need, not ability to pay, helping more people access timely neurodevelopmental assessments and support.

  • We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care services in England.

Our registration demonstrates our commitment to delivering services that are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. We adhere to the CQC Fundamental Standards, providing reassurance that our care meets nationally recognised quality requirements.
